Enticing someone to travel these days is no small task. Post-Pandemic, a large population shifted to remote jobs that allowed them flexibility to work from anywhere. As people became more comfortable in the stay-at-home mindset versus traveling for work, this meant a change in the mindset to travel for meetings as well. More and more meetings are now offered with the option to livestream the content, which allows guests to gain important knowledge without the stress of travel.

So, what entices guests to travel and attend a meeting live these days? Part of the reason is the destination!

A great meeting destination has a convenient airport that allows guests to transfer to their hotel with ease after their flight. In the same vein of convenience, having multiple options for hotels near the convention center or meeting venue is a must. Lastly, entertainment, activities, and dining options make the trip memorable outside of the meeting. Attendees should leave the meeting feeling like they got to experience the host city and that their travel efforts were worth the trip.

Boston has all these things and more, making it an ideal city for your next meeting. Boston Logan International Airport is within a 20-minute transfer to most hotels in the downtown area. Whether your meeting is in Back Bay near the Hynes Convention Center or in Seaport near the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, both are located near a variety of hotel options. The city is home to small boutique hotels up to large luxury properties, some of which can host your meeting if you choose to keep guests onsite.

Walk around any Boston neighborhood and you will see a consistent flow of restaurants, activities, and activations nearby. Boston offers everything from fine dining and art museums to historical walking tours, boat cruises, and teambuilding activities such as mixology classes or pickleball tournaments. There is something new popping up every week that only adds to the long list of things to do during your guests’ free time.

If you think Boston could be a great destination for your next meeting, let us help make the experience memorable and worthwhile!
