Get to Know Our Staff! Instagram Takeover by Perry!
January 13, 2020
At Corinthian Events, we are always trying to get to know our clients, valued partners, friends and followers better – but we also want YOU to know us better, too. Once a month, we use our social media accounts to bring you behind the scenes and experience a few days-in-the-life of a Corinthian Events Staff Member.
We are excited to announce that this week, Perry Burnham, one of our incredible event managers, will be taking over our Instagram feed! Tune in all week for posts, stories, pictures and videos directly from Perry!
To kick off Perry’s Instagram Takeover, let’s get to know her a little better with a quick Q&A:
Q1: At which store would you like to max-out your credit card
A1: Definitely TJ Maxx…I guess you could call me a Maxx-inista! I’m very picky about which TJ Maxx I go to though. I typically have to drive out to the burbs to get the real experience I am looking for.
Q2: What was your childhood nickname?
A2: When I started at Corinthian Events, I was living with my older cousin Sarah who calls me “Winkle.” I grew up with the name “Periwinkle” which was a play on my name, Perry, and I HATED IT!! The last thing I wanted was for the people at my new job to figure out this nickname and call me by it. Somehow on my first day, our Computer & Technology Consultant, Bob, upon meeting me, called me Winkle!!
Q3: What was your first job?
A3: My first job was scooping ice-cream at an orchard when I was the wee age of 14! After that I spent nearly 7 years as a part-time barista at Zumi’s in Ipswich, MA and still refer to that café as the place I truly “grew up.”
Q4: What is the worst pet you ever had?
A4: I had a boyfriend in high school that got me two hermit crabs for my birthday. Hermit crabs never die!!! I had them for a good 6 years after we broke up-and they aren’t even a fun pet to have.
Q5: Who is someone you really admire?
A5: My grandmother, Maria. She is such a polished, lovely lady and I have always wanted to be more like her. I was just at her house a week ago and saw a beautiful dress in her wardrobe. I asked her about it, and she told me it was custom-made with fabric that her friend from Egypt brought to her on a visit to the U.S. I don’t think I will ever be that cool or fancy!!
